Things I hate as an affiliate

Being an affiliate isn’t always sunshine and tequilas. And whilst itsĀ  a great and convenient part time business there are things about affiliate marketing that drive me up the wall and have me shouting at my computer screen.

so here’s my fantastic Affiliate list of pet peeves (its an affiliate list as I work as an affiliate manager and really some of these are easily solved with a decent affiliate manager)

1. being declined from merchants with no reason

2. not being able to deeplink to specific products

3. finding merchants with specific produts

4. waiting to get paid

5. Merchants closing (especially with no notice)

6. my generic site being declined (even though its really clear I’ve got tons of highly targeted niche sites)

7. Merchant emails, there are literally hundreds a day.

8. waiting for merchants to approve my site and my sales

9. competitor affiliates beating my site in a niche

10. all things techincal
